As you might have noticed, I got a new WordPress theme for the blog. I really liked the old one, but it was really old and had security problems – someone was able to insert arbitrary code into the PHP files. Had to upgrade and reinstall all the blogs; I hope problems are gone now. 

Have been thinking about moving to a different hosting provider where WordPress upgrades are automated, so I no longer have to upgrade them manually through ssh. It’s just a major hassle though, although less of a hassle than being compromised.

I don’t like how the sidebar has a long list of the archive by months – is there some way to make that more minimal/clean/neat? It takes up too much space now. Found a way to tweak the sidebar with widgets.
