Inside Professor Obama’s Classroom

The New York Times blog have been able to dig up the old syllabi and law exams Obama gave when he was a law professor at the University of Chicago. I wish I would have been able to take his class! (although I should say I don’t have much to complain in the department of being able to take classes from awesome professors!). A couple of thoughts: what do syllabi and law exams, and more in general, the way you teach, reveal and tell about who you are, what your beliefs are, and what kind of person you are? Or, whether you will make a good president? How different are Obama the law professor and Obama the president going to be? Also, *freak*, I sure hope people will not dig up my papers, syllabi, lecture notes ten, fifteen, twenty years from now!

book and sword : gratitude and revenge

is the first novel written by Jin Yong. The protagonist is Chan Ka Lok, who is the leader of the Red Flower Society. The book title refers to Ka Lok being famous for being well-versed in culture and martial arts, but also for having to make a difficult ethical decision. My father named me and my brother after him.
