dollars worthless in amsterdam

Dollars tough to sell on streets of Amsterdam. Maybe I should ask the school to consider paying my scholarship in a currency other than American dollars. How about the Chinese yuan? Here I thought the exchange rate of 1.25 dollars for a euro was high when I initially came to the States. It’s now hovering around 1.55.
