well, I agree that blogs are diaries read outloud. I think that sometimes when we think outloud, we hope to find others who happen to be listening in on our daydreams, random thoughts, experiences of our battles in Life, sentiments of the reminiscer…and we hope that we find others who are of like minds & sentiments in this big, huge universe! am I romanticizing this too much? hehe.

i think for most people, a blog is a kind of diary. there are many kinds of blogs out there.

i do think though, that having a blog yourself, makes one become a more critical reader. by writing yourself, you end up realizing what you read in the mainstream media is constructed by another human being, often influenced by his institution. in that sense, blogs are more ‘authentic’ than news in the media, at least for now.

yes, sharing is quite fantastic stuff. but, i am not quite agree with ‘blog is a kind of diary’. I think it is being a RATUAL–both write and read. What do you think?
