book and sword: gratitude and revenge

April 16th, 2006

The rhetorical act of naming your child; I decided to rename this blog after six years. Formerly known as silent dreams: the time of dreams, at the very least the silent ones, as well as that of the peach blossom island are both past.., this, here and now, is book and sword : gratitude and revenge.

Wiki has a not-so-complete entry, but given the (cultural, linguistical) constraints, it’s not all that bad. Also see the recently added about page.

EDIT: Belle once wrote a haiku inspired by ‘silent dreams’, reposted here in, posthumous:

floating on nebulous sky,
I lay my head
on the face of moonlight.

Your post is tripping me out. I just finished watching Hero by Zhang Yimou. As you know, the words and swords are the highlight of the movie. Anywho, book and sword is an excellent reflection of your current stage.

The subtitle is from a poem Desiderata
