Asia has been growing rapidly for 25 years. So why does half its population live on $2 a day?

By the numbers, Asia is home to seven in 10 of humanity’s poor—about 700 million people—who subsist on $1 a day or less.

Those are some pretty sad numbers.

    Exploitation of the talented poor is on I can think of. On the flipside, could it be that the rest of the world is spending too much money,therefore, $2 sounds just too little?

book and sword : gratitude and revenge

is the first novel written by Jin Yong. The protagonist is Chan Ka Lok, who is the leader of the Red Flower Society. The book title refers to Ka Lok being famous for being well-versed in culture and martial arts, but also for having to make a difficult ethical decision. My father named me and my brother after him.
